AI Mic Keyboard Privacy Policy
In short: AI Mic Keyboard does not record, store or send what you type on the keyboard. Only after you tap Listen, your device's speech recognition service turns what you say into text; your recording is not sent to our server. That text, and text you choose to polish or translate, is sent over an encrypted connection to our server and to Anthropic's Claude AI service only to polish it (or translate it, if you ask). We do not keep your recordings or your texts (a text is kept for up to 30 days only if you choose to include it when reporting an AI result). The app never sends a message on your behalf; you decide what is inserted.
1. Who we are
AI Mic Keyboard ("the app") is published by Rui Codex ("we", "us"). Contact: info@ruicodex.com.
2. What the app does
AI Mic Keyboard is an Android system keyboard. You can type normally, or tap Listen and speak. Your speech is transcribed, polished by AI without changing its meaning, and shown to you for approval. Only when you approve is the text inserted at the cursor. You can also tap the ✨ key to polish text you have typed, or use quick translation to translate your speech or text into another language.
3. Data we process

4. What we do not do
- We do not record, analyse or transmit your regular keystrokes.
- Voice input and AI features are turned off in password fields, and their contents are never read.
- The app does not record in the background.
- The app never sends messages, emails or posts on your behalf.
- We do not show ads, do not use analytics or tracking SDKs, and do not sell or share your data for advertising.
- We do not require an account and do not collect your name, email address, contacts or location.
5. Service providers
Speech recognition: your voice is turned into text by the speech recognition service on your device (Android's speech recognizer; depending on your phone and settings this is, for example, Google's service, which may process audio online). This service is provided by your device or its vendor under their own privacy terms; AI Mic Keyboard does not receive or keep the audio.
AI processing: texts are processed on our server and sent to the Anthropic Claude API (Anthropic, PBC) to polish or translate them. Each request contains only the text being processed; no conversation history is sent. Anthropic does not use API content to train its models and may keep it for a limited period solely for safety and abuse monitoring, as described in its commercial terms and privacy policy. Anthropic's processing may take place outside your country, including in the United States.
Our server only keeps technical logs: a request ID, duration, success or error code and the AI model name. Recordings, texts (including the text of a report), tokens and keys are never logged.
AI safety and reporting: the AI service declines clearly harmful requests under its safety policies. When content is blocked you see a message instead of a result; the app never shows a made-up result, and your own words are kept. If an AI result is offensive, harmful or changes what you meant, you can report it in the app. Reports are used only to review the problem; they are not used to train AI models and are not shared with third parties.
6. Legal basis
We process your voice and text to provide the feature you explicitly start (performance of a service you request). Before voice input is used for the first time, the app explains this processing and asks for your consent; you can withdraw it at any time in the app's settings. Voice data is not used to identify you.
7. Permissions
- Microphone: used by your device's speech recognition service only while it listens after you tap Listen.
- Internet: used to send texts to our server for processing.
Android shows a standard notice when you enable any keyboard, saying it may be able to collect what you type. AI Mic Keyboard does not do this, as described above.
8. Security
All traffic between the app and our server is encrypted with HTTPS. The AI service key exists only on our server, never in the app.
9. Your choices and rights
- You can withdraw consent in the app settings, revoke the microphone permission in Android settings, or switch to another keyboard at any time.
- Deleting your data: we do not store your recordings, texts or an account, so our server holds no data linked to you. Content reports cannot be linked to you and are deleted automatically within 30 days. To delete what is on your device (settings and the anonymous token), uninstall AI Mic Keyboard or clear its storage in Android settings. To request deletion or ask a question, email info@ruicodex.com with the subject "AI Mic Keyboard data deletion"; we reply within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your data, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Contact us at info@ruicodex.com.
10. Children
The app is intended for adults (18 and over). It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly process children's data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version; significant changes will be announced in the app or on its store page.
